Kirtland AFB receives body armor tailored for women | Air Force Times

As a part of the Air Force effort to provide women better-fitting equipment, Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico received a new body armor. The new body armor is specifically tailored for women in the Air Force, with a lighter feel, curved chest plate, and shorter torso size. It also has an adjustable back and comes in different sizes. In line with this, the airport also gave new guidelines on the way women do their hair, allowing them were bangs and braid it.
