The US Air Force’s deadly airstrike in Syria has sparked complaints from Democratic allies, saying that they went a step ahead with it. This is because the airstrike has targeted Iranian-backed Iraqi armed group facilities and has reportedly killed one fighter as well. According to the Pentagon, the move was a retaliation for a rocket attack in Iraq earlier this month, wounding U.S. service members and other coalition troops and killing one civilian contractor.
