Bangladesh is a country known as “nature-on-the-move” due to its most dynamic and extensive river networks in the world. The country is prone to natural disasters than in the past three decades. It has overcome around 200 natural disasters. Specifically, the country’s geographic location makes it flood-prone, requiring its people to be resilient and adaptable. In fact, the people in Bangladesh have learned to live in harmony with natural disasters that they have red bricks indoors, which are used to elevate beds during floods quickly, have portable stoves with them, and so much more.
