Israel and US begin Arrow-4 development | Defense News

In an announcement made a day after U.S. President Joe Biden spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel and the United States have already started developing the Arrow-4 missile defense system. According to Israel’s Defense Ministry, the system will replace Arrow-2 in the coming years and is seen as the first in the world to intercept ballistic missiles. The system comes with next-generation interceptors and an Arrow-4 interceptor that will provide a new layer of defense to the State of Israel and its citizens. In addition, the system is specifically designed to prepare Israel for future battles and to be able to keep up in this ever-changing world.
