As the only major global economy that has seen growth last year, China has officially outcasted the U.S. as UE’s biggest trading partner. Last year, the trade between these two countries was estimated at $709bn, which is relatively higher than the U.S. at $671bn. This relatively large amount is the result of China’s high demand for European cars and luxury goods and UE’s demand for medical equipment.
