The U.S. Navy is planning to get rid of its nearly new 12 Mk VI patrol boats based on different areas, including Guam, U.S., and Persian Gulf. The plan is by approved budgetary decisions. The troops are targeting to eliminate the boats until the end of the year, but it is possible that they could begin retiring them as early as next month. These boats are almost new, and the oldest of them is only six years old.
