With the aim of bringing down Iran and its terrorist proxies in Syria and Lebanon, the Israeli Air Force is set to fund approximately $9 billion worth of U.S. military aircraft and weapons, including both the F-35 and the F-15EX. Israel’s Cabinet approved their Air Force request to use U.S. foreign military financing and loans to acquire new American fighter aircraft, air refuelers, and helicopters, which serves as an advantage over any potential regional adversary. The decision was delayed due to disagreements before, but Israel can’t waste more time given Iran’s growing threat.
