Is it possible to eat well for less? Yes, it is, with “frugalvore.” Frugalvore is a shopping system that is based on “locavore,” a movement that advocates eating only foods grown within a 100-mile radius from your home. What makes frugalvore different from locavore is that with frugalvore, you shop mostly (or completely) for what’s on sale. This makes it easier to shop since you are forced to plan your entire weekly menu on the most affordable foodstuffs; thus, you get to save more and eat more at the same time. When practicing this system, always keep this mantra in mind: If it’s not on sale, it’s not in my cart.
