Five years after the announcement of the creation of Tactical Assault Light Operator Suit (Talos), referred to as the “Iron Man,” makers are hopeful that the individual components of the suit will be used somewhere else. This could mean altering the military’s individual soldier, making it in to someone who can fight without fear, compassion, regret, or pain through genome editing. Unluckily, genome editing is not allowed in most countries, except China, which means that creating a super soldier is almost impossible unless the rules adjust.
