Bill would cut over 100,000 DoD jobs | Federal Times

Must Read

A new bill introduced by Rep. Ken Calvert titled Rebalance for an Effective Defense Uniform, and Civilian Employees Act would require the Department of Defense to cut its civilian workforce by 15 percent by 2025. This means that around 100,000 federal workers will lose their job by that time. The act has also enabled the secretary of defense to use early retirement incentives and voluntary separation to reduce employees in the coming years.
