Over 3 billion emails and passwords hacked in possibly the largest breach ever | Consumer Affairs

Over 3.27 billion unique pairs of emails and passwords were leaked on what could possibly be the largest breach ever, which is dubbed “Compilation of Many Breaches” (COMB). Specifically, most of these emails and passwords are stolen from LinkedIn, Netflix, etc. The current breach doesn’t appear like a new breach but rather is a compilation of multiple breaches. What makes the case worse is that the stolen login details are “interactive databases,” which means hackers can use them to look for matches and new breach imports. With this, everyone is advised to change their passwords.
