Hundreds of doctors fired by VA may still be treating veterans, GAO finds | Military.com

Around 227 medical doctors fired by the Department of Veterans may still be treating veterans according to reports. This is possible through the VA’s networks of private physicians. These medical doctors were dismissed due to poor quality care after the tracking that has been made in 2019 to ensure that the medical doctors working for VA are eligible to care for veterans.
