Navy drops charges against SEAL accused of sexual assault | Navy Times

Initially charged in December 2019, Petty Officer First Class Adel Enayat, an enlisted SEAL member, has officially cleared his name from sexual assault allegations. The case involved a female sailor at a Fourth of July party in Iraq and has caused the entire Foxtrot platoon of SEAL Team 7 to be sent home early to San Diego from the Middle East. Enayat pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of battery and assault and will serve up to 90 days in the brig.
