Since it broke out almost a year, researchers have found that patients who have been fighting COVID-19 for a long time can become incubators of the new coronavirus strain, as seen in a 45-year-old COVID-19 patient in Boston. The man has died battling the virus, but in his 154-day battle, it was found out that his body became a crucible of riotous viral mutation. His case has shown the capacity of the virus to spin off new and more dangerous versions of itself that could change the trajectory of the pandemic.
