Eleven soldiers from Fort Bliss in El Paso, who were completing a 10-day field training exercise was sent to the hospital after drinking antifreeze, which they thought was alcohol. Out of 11 soldiers, one is a warrant officer, two are non-commissioned officers, and eight are enlisted service members. Eventually, these soldiers forgot that alcohol consumption in a field training environment this ending them up in ethylene glycol poisoning. Antifreeze can cause severe kidney damage and, worse, death.
