It’s time to move the Army ladder | War on the Rocks

After 20 years of fighting militarily inferior enemies in Afghanistan and Iraq, the U.S. Army is about to embark in another milestone, purchasing two advanced nuclear powers in its effort to compete with Russia and China. This effort, and a whole lot more, are all part of modernizing the Army as they can’t allow the Army to be left behind. Other parts of the modernization program include changing its warfighting functions, developing a theory for information age warfare, and hanging the roles and missions of its major warfighting organizations among others.
