Just a few days before the Inauguration Day, Trump’s Acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller reportedly said that he can’t wait to leave his job, according to a released transcript. Miller has been working as the Acting Defense Secretary for roughly two months now after Trump fired Defense Secretary Mark Esper after the election. Since being in the position Miller has faced numerous difficult tasks including COVID-19 vaccines for troops, troop drawdowns in the Middle East, the and the activation of the National Guard in DC.
