Anthony Baca was with the New Mexico National Guard’s 720th Transportation Company when he deployed to Kuwait and Iraq in 1991. “It’s something you never forget. Every time you see one of your fellow soldiers, it brings back memories,” Baca commented. The first two weeks he recalls the housing complex and Saudi air base being hit with Scud missiles.
