Afghan Air Force kills 15 Al Qaeda operatives in Helmand | Long War Journal

Over the past several days the Afghan Air Force killed 15 Al-Qaeda members and even more Taliban members. This occurred due to the fact that the Taliban agreed to not allow Al-Qaeda members in Afghan territory but in fact did launch attacks against the Afghan army/ United States and their allies. Afghanistan Ministry of Defense launched two airstrikes on December 26 and December 27 resulting in killing 15 Al-Qaeda members and 17 Taliban members.
