Two women are working to be part of the Special Warfare Training courses as confirmed by the Air Force. 1st Lt. Alejandra Fontalvo could not disclose further details for privacy reasons. Ever since the Defense Department opened combat career fields to women in 2015, few female airmen have qualified for Air Force special warfare training. This sets out opportunities for women to prove their skills and capabilities qualified in the military.
