F-15 Eagle aircraft is one of the most notable and successful fighter aircraft in production in the Air Force. The Eagle is a twin-engine, all-weather, tactical supersonic warfighting machine. The idea started during the Vietnam War and to date, the F-15 has over 100 victories and no losses in aerial combat. It has a combat range capability of 1,220 miles and can achieve a speed of 1,650 mph. A second seat was added to allow for all-weather, air-to-air, and deep interdiction missions, and the rear cockpit now include cathode ray tube displays for weapons management in a recent upgrade.
