Apple added an App Tracking Transparency feature in iOS 14.3 where users will be asked if they want their data to be shared for targeted, personalized advertising. Apple believes users should have the choice over the data that is being collected about them and how it is used. However, Facebook says that limiting how personalized ads work can greatly affect small businesses who have little exposure because they would not be able to afford campaigns that would need to be seen by more people to generate the same number of sales.
