German poet Heinrich Heine wrote about his political predictions in 1834 that many found to relate to the reign of Nazism. With all the devastating news currently happening because of the pandemic, it reminds us how Heine has foreseen the rise of vicious tyranny and violence of war. As the writer has emphasized, “He understood that what happens in the domain of the invisible — in the minds, the hearts, the souls of people — eventually plays itself out in the realm of the visible. ‘Thought precedes action as lightning precedes thunder’.”
