The leader of the Jemaah Islamiyah network has been arrested after being hunted down by counterterrorism police. He has been linked to making the bombs that were used in the 2002 attacks, as well as coordination efforts. Police raided a house that contained the suspect Aris Sumarsono, known as Zulkarnaen. He has also been linked to other attacks on top of the 2002 Bali bombing, including one in 2003 and 2005.
