Mohsen Fakhrizadeh: ‘Machine-gun with AI’ used to kill Iran scientist | BBC News

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Iran’s top nuclear scientist, was shot dead in a vehicle using a satellite-controlled machine-gun with “artificial intelligence” a Revolutionary Guards commander says. It was told in local media that the weapon was mounted in a pick-up truck and was “equipped with an intelligent satellite system which zoomed in on Fakhrizadeh without hitting his wife next to him. The claim why Fakhrizadeh was targeted was not to end the Iranian nuclear program Project Amad but rather to put an end to the US rejoining the 2015 Iran nuclear deal when President-elect Joe Biden takes office next year.
