US Special Operations Forces will be receiving the new MRZR Alpha light attack vehicle made by Polaris Defense to increase hostage rescue time and perform rapid hit-and-run attacks. This new vehicle will enable SOF units to travel across what was previously impossible terrain and boasts high-energy laser systems, Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems capabilities, and autonomy packages.


Qatar Special Forces commandos have been conducting a joint training exercise with Turkish Special Operations Forces in Doha throughout the beginning of December. The Qatar-Turkey Combined Joint Force Command troops have completed numerous drills including firearm training, ground maneuvers, and infiltration operations.


Nigerian Special Forces have conducted a hostage rescue in the Kaduna State, saving the lives of nine citizens. During the rescue five of the armed bandits and kidnappers were killed and several more were wounded. Governor Nasir El-Rufai has thanked the SF soldiers for their bravery and the rescued citizens have been reunited with their families.
