Malmstrom Air Force Base is the first U.S. Air Force Base to receive the brand-new MH-139 Grey Wolf helicopters.11 new and better performing Grey Wolf helicopters will replace the 8 Huey’s that are currently being used. Two of the Grey Wolf helicopters are expected by the Fall of next year and the new fleet is expected to be fully operational by 2023. To show their honor to Colonel James P. Fleming, they painted a historical design in the scheme of the 20th Special Operations Squadron, which is the squadron the Colonel flew when he won the Medal of Honor.
