What Acting SecDef Miller’s special ops shift means | Breaking Defense

Acting SecDef Chris Miller has cut out the middleman and made it so reports from the Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict office are reporting directly to him. He also sees urgency with the US trying to pull troops out of the middle east in the most responsible way. Linda Robinson, director of the Center for Middle East Public Policy at RAND Corporation, thinks this will add more pressure on other offices. It would also take responsibility away from policy office and introduce a shift in the SOF community.
