Medal of Honor recipient stays connected to Army by helping others | US Army

When Army Ranger Leroy Petry reached for a live grenade to protect the lives of soldiers around him, he sacrificed his arm. He knew it was worth it to protect those around him. He received the Medal of Honor for his actions. However, his sacrificing and giving has not stopped. Petry has continued to stay connected to the Army community and is now working as an advocate for Army soldiers.
