French troops kill commander of al-Qaeda-linked group in Mali | Al Jazeera

In Mali, the commander of the Group to Support Islam and Muslims (GSIM), a known al-Qaeda linked group, was killed by French troops. The commander has been identified by officials as Bah Ag Moussa. He has been at the head of many attacks against Malian troops, civilians, and other international forces. Moussa was a former army colonel and was on the United States terrorism list.
