Marissa Lemar shares her experiences with her fellow veterans, explaining the different reasons for joining the military and their effects on them. “Serving in the military is an opportunity to better oneself, whether that’s driven by the promise of financial benefits, world travel, job security, patriotism, or all of the above,” Lemar states.
