Key Al-Qaida leader killed in western Afghanistan | VOA News

Mohammad Hanif, also known as Abdullah, was killed in Western Afghanistan by an intelligence led operation according to officials. Abdullah was a citizen of Pakistan. The United States will hold a peace talk with the Islamic Taliban and if it is found that there al-Qaida operatives in insurgent-held Afghan areas, it would mean that there is a breach of the peace building agreement between the two. Deals have been continuing between Al-Qaida and the Taliban despite there being a peace building agreement according to the United Nations.
