Gunmen kill two in ‘terror attack’ in Vienna, manhunt launched | Reuters

The shooters shot at the main synagogue as well as six other locations in Vienna during this ‘terror attack.’ Many witnesses in Austria reported the men firing automatic weapons into crowds at bars. A Rabbi in the synagogue at the time spoke about the shooters firing across the street at civilians. “According to what we currently know, at least one perpetrator is still on the run.” Interior Minister Karl Nehammer stated. Austria’s army will be protecting areas in the capital while the police focus on how to stop the terror attacks. Special forces units are in search of the assailants and other involvements. Countries around the world express their condolences such as France and the United States. President Trump wrote “our prayers are with the people of Vienna after yet another vile act of terrorism in Europe” in a tweet. Officials have not released any information on the motive for the attacks in Vienna.
