Here’s how the National Guard is supporting the Nov. 3 election | Military Times

Since the past election in 2016, concerns with other countries disrupting the election have risen and cyber-attack threats are at a high. Senior guard officials from around the country are dedicated to the effort. At least 1400 guard troops have been committed to the effort with most of them coming from Texas. Troops will also be supervising the polling stations as well as preparing for post-election uproar.
