Russian General Staff chief Valery Gerasimov and President Putin have released information the country’s recent successful hypersonic cruise missile test. The test was conducted from the Admiral Groshkov frigate in the White Sea, where it was able to successfully hit a target in the Barents Sea. Putin also stated that the new missiles could travel nine times faster than the speed of sound and have a range of 620 miles.
