Can AI detect disinformation? A new special operations program may find out | Defense One

A new software tool to counter disinformation is to be developed for the U.S. Air Force and Special Operations Command. Primer was granted a Small Business Innovation Research contract to develop software over the next coming years to detect false information that shows in open-source materials. Primer’s neural network technology can scan large amounts of text and extract themes and other information based on the frequency and prominence of words and phrases.
