According to a survey of more than 2,000 people, it is found that 9 out of 10 people would take a pay cut to have a job with more meaning. Companies that have a higher employee retention rate is because they feel empowered and accountable to the company’s mission. University of Pennsylvania researchers interviewed executives from 12 top-performing companies like Google, Microsoft, KPMG, and others to find out what makes work meaningful for their people.
