If you already have an athletic history, you may have certain strength in weight training but an area for improvement in areas of speed agility, or endurance. In preparation for the fall and winter, Stew Smith recommends cutting the weight lift in half and doubling your cardio. Adding a rucking progression to change things up during this phase is also important. In the spring and summer, you can go back to focusing on calisthenics, cardio, and supplement a few lifts into the week as desired.
