Somalia: Somali special forces retake town from Al-Shabaab | All Africa

Military reports state that Somali special forces had taken control of an Al-Shabaab base and now peacefully have control over the Leego Area. In 2015, Al-Shabaab members attacked an AMISOM outpost in the same area, killing more than 70 Burundi soldiers and injuring dozens more. The Somali Army increased their force in the area in order to liberate any parts still under the control of the Al-Shabaab.
