Medium-lift utility helicopters like the Sikorsky S-70 platform is one of the most popular and versatile aircraft used by the U.S. military and government agencies. Few of them stand out as they were painted with a fluorescent shade called shocking pink. These aircraft from outside agencies are assigned to battle fires especially with the extreme heat happening today. Aircraft identification numbers are repainted in the vivid color along with thick stripes on the tail and fuselage. The outstanding color will help in fire rescues and mitigate the risk of mid-air collisions when visibility is low.
