Nigeria Immigration deploys ‘Special Force’ to fight bandits in North-West | All Africa

Special Forces soldiers are being deployed to help ease violence and promote peace in the northern areas of Nigeria. Officials have blamed the lack of stability in the area as a direct threat to the nation’s security. Some will be posted at the border. This is an effort to help decrease human trafficking and drug smuggling all of which has been seen in this region. Over 2,4000 officers have been trained since January as Nigeria continues to strength their opposition against terrorism and other threats.
