David Taylor, the driver of an emergency patrol vehicle for the Illinois Department of transportation, noticed a vehicle accident and jumped right into action. When he approached the scene, the 60-year-old driver of the wrecked flaming Kia, was unresponsive. Taylor broke the rear window and climbed inside before putting the car in park. Another good Samaritan that stopped to help named Sheard Cedric pulled the man out of the car once Taylor had unlocked the door from the inside. Lastly, one more emergency vehicle driver name Neil Grueninger arrived and performed CPR on the unconscious driver until officials arrived. The man safely arrived at the hospital with no life-threatening injuries because of the strangers help.
