Ukrainian and U.S. Special Forces start off exercise Fiction Urchin this week with conducting static-line and free-fall training. This multinational exercise included the participation of ten allied partners and nations. The U.S. Air force has deployed MC-130J Commando II and CV-22 Osprey to the Black Sea Region in order to support allies and strengthen international relationships. The CV-22 Ospreys assigned to the 352d Special Operations Wing in Mildenhall England also conducted a fast rope insertion and extraction system with Ukraine. The exercise Fiction Urchin is focused on the U.S. and Ukraine relationship and emphasizes joint force interoperability.
