Retired Army Master Sgt. Leroy Petry earned the Medal of Honor in 2011 for saving the lives of two fellow Rangers during a 2008 battle in Afghanistan. He went for a talk in Fort Eustis about suicide prevention and mental health, but little did he knew that his Medal of Honor license plate got stolen. Police are currently investigating the current theft incident that happened at the airport at Seattle-Tacoma airport. He jokingly posted on Facebook, “it’s probably a gamer that plays Call of Duty who thought they could earn the Medal of Honor that way. Or someone disgruntled or some PX Ranger or somebody.”
