Israel has received threats after a Hezbollah soldier was killed during an airstrike. “When Israel kills one of our fighters, we will kill one of your soldiers” Hezbollah leader, Nasrallah, stated in a televised address. The death has incited revenge which has been attempted twice to date. On July 27th, a group of Hezbollah men tried to cross into Israel territory before turning back because of Israeli warning strikes. The second event occurred on August 25th when shots nearly missed Israeli soldiers by the community of Manara. The western border of Lebanon is being defended by the 300th brigade. The military force has increased their troop numbers, artillery power, air support, and retaliation planning in order to combat the threats.
