Australian telescope finds no signs of alien technology in 10 million star systems | Science Daily

A radio telescope known as Murchison Widefield Array (MWA) telescope was used by astronomers to explore the space around the Vela constellation with at least 10 million stars. Even if there were no observation of any radio emission from space, this is the deepest and broadest search at low frequencies for extraterrestrial life. “Although there is a long way to go in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, telescopes such as the MWA will continue to push the limits — we have to keep looking,” says Professor Steven Tingay.
