“We are proud to support the president’s national security strategy by keeping illegal drugs off American streets,” said Capt. Timothy Cronin. Crew members of the Coast Guard Cutter Hamilton have successfully secured illegal drugs including coke and pot. They have been completing successful missions despite the coronavirus pandemic creating more hardship. The Hamilton is based out of Charleston, SC and is one of several Coast Guard and Navy ships to recently intercept drug smugglers.
