As retaliation for an attack that occurred by the al-Qaeda linked group on Somalin soldiers that were near US troops, the US issued an airstrike. The airstrike resulted in six of the al-Shabab terrorists dead. The US also warns about al-Shabab’s extreme and convincing use of propaganda. The group has been deemed a threat to both Somalia and the US by the US Africa command. There were no US casualties.
