In line with the Agility Prime Program, the first electric vertical takeoff and landing flight (eVTOL) was demonstrated in front of US Air Force officers at Camp Mabry on Aug. 20. A prototype Hexa multirotor aircraft which looks like a golf cart hoisted into the air by multiple drones were created by Texas-based LIFT Aircraft. This is first in the program’s “Air Race to Certification,” according to the Air Force.
