A 60-year-old D-Day veteran beat Special Forces climbing Pointe du Hoc | We are the Mighty

Herman Stein is a former Ranger who landed at Pointe du Hoc during World War II and scaled the cliffs to take out Nazi fire. In June of 1984 at just over 60 years old, he climbed the cliffs again and beat out a dozen Special Forces soldiers. The 40th anniversary event has since been recounted in a book, and Stein recounts numerous other events, as well as meeting President Reagan at the cliffs.
